Aluminium Skirting, Surface-Mounted or Flush with the Wall
Mini skirting is a low aluminium skirting board for places where the skirting should barely show: minimalist interiors, rooms with flush-mounted doors, furniture standing right against the wall. ARTPROFILE makes two mini skirting ranges: the surface-mounted MPS and the MPG, which sits flush with the wall.
Mini skirting ranges
- MPS — surface-mounted mini skirting. Fitted on a finished wall. Five profiles: the rounded MPS-013, the lowest MPS-015, MPS-217 at 22 mm, the bevelled MPS-302 (25 mm) and MPS-317 at 34 mm.
- MPG — mini skirting flush with the wall. Its face is in line with the wall, so it does not stick out or collect dust. Four profiles: MPG-018 (9.3 mm), MPG-172 (22 mm), the bevelled MPG-301 (25 mm) and MPG-450 (45 mm).
How to choose
Surface-mounted or flush. MPS goes into a finished room. MPG is built in while the walls are being finished, when the skirting has to be in one plane with the wall — for example, together with flush-mounted doors.
Height and shape. Low profiles almost disappear, taller ones cover the floor-to-wall joint better, and the bevelled MPS-302 and MPG-301 give a softer shadow. Exact dimensions of every profile are on the drawing in the product gallery, next to the 3D model and the installation video.
Colour. Every model comes in black, silver and white.
