Surface-mounted aluminium skirting is fixed on top of a finished wall, so it can go into a completed room without chasing or rebuilding walls. Aluminium is not afraid of moisture or vacuum-cleaner knocks, does not yellow or warp, and a slim profile looks more modern than MDF or PVC skirting.

ARTPROFILE surface-mounted ranges

"Tinline" mini skirting MPA-015 — minimal height for interiors where the skirting should almost disappear; fixed with mounting springs.
Flat skirting ASP-80 and ASP-100 — 80 and 100 mm high, 12 mm thick, with fittings: end caps, corners and connectors.
"Strila" flat skirting, 36, 58 and 78 mm high — fitting-free, joints and corners need no extra parts.
"Kontur" rectangular skirting (PNP-608, PNP-609) — with diffusers for LED floor lighting.

How to choose

Start from height and style. Mini skirting suits minimalist interiors, flat 80–100 mm skirting covers an uneven floor-to-wall joint, and "Kontur" adds lighting around the room. Match the colour to doors, floor or walls: uncoated, primed or any RAL colour.

FAQ

How is surface-mounted skirting fixed?

Depending on the range, with mounting springs or the fixings from the fittings set. The parts each range needs are in the catalogue.

Is aluminium skirting suitable for wet rooms?

Yes, aluminium does not swell or rot, so it is used in bathrooms, hallways and kitchens.

Can the skirting match the wall colour?

Yes, we paint in any RAL colour or supply it primed so it can be painted together with the walls.
